In the therapy room, Janae focuses on connecting with clients using multicultural and strength-based values. She works with clients to examine areas of improvement and focuses on collaboratively creating goals while building healthy coping skills to ensure clients reach those goals.
Janae is a master’s student at Capella University, studying Marriage and Family Therapy. She works with individuals, couples, and non-monogamous relationships who are navigating life transitions, stress management and gender identity and sexuality. Janae works with sexual minorities to address a range of concerns including internalized homophobia, the coming out process, sexual orientation, gender identity and transitioning.
